It’s really good to have you here.
Hi, and welcome.
I know joining a mental health forum can feel uncomfortable at first — especially if you’re going through a lot right now or you’re not used to talking about how you feel. If you’ve arrived here because life has been heavy, confusing, or just exhausting lately, please know this:
You don’t need to be okay to be here.
You don’t need to know what to say.
You don’t have to share anything before you’re ready.
Just being here is enough.
HelpMindsHeal was created because so many of us needed a place where we could be honest without feeling judged, dismissed, or like a burden. A place you can come to when things feel too much, or when you just need to know someone else understands.
People who listen.
You’ll meet others who have felt anxious, low, overwhelmed, stuck, numb, or scared. You don’t have to explain everything perfectly. People here understand the messy, complicated feelings too.
A space for difficult topics.
If you ever want to talk about trauma, intrusive thoughts, grief, burnout, loneliness, relationship struggles, or anything else, you can. If you’re not ready, that’s completely fine as well.
Your pace is the right pace.
Some days you might want to talk. Other days you may only feel up to reading quietly or checking in. Both are completely valid.
Safety first.
We’re mindful about triggers, boundaries, and emotional wellbeing. Some sections allow anonymous posting for topics that feel especially vulnerable.
You’re not “too much.”
You deserve a space where your feelings are allowed and where you don’t have to pretend.
Whatever brought you here matters, and so do you.
This community is here to support you in a calm, respectful, human way. If you ever need help navigating anything or want to offer suggestions for the site, you can share them in Community Feedback & Suggestions.
Take things one step at a time.
Be patient with yourself.
We’re glad you’re here.
