Running into walls ...literally

Hey everyone, well they upped my meds (3 days ago) to 60mg of celexa and 2 mg of clonazepam a day (only taking 1mg at night though) and today especially I am running into walls...well, falling into them really. My head feels sooo fuzzy and I feel like I am on a boat, hardly any balance at all. Tried doing my normal yoga routine this morning and couldn't get through it.

Only been up for a couple hours now and have fallen into walls/door 3 times, once hard enough to leave a bruise.

I didn't eat much yesterday, and I skipped dinner, but this morning I had a good breakfast and I am always drinking plenty of water. I don't take any pills in the morning and it has been about 13 hours since my last dosage.

Has anyone experienced this before? Should I be concerned? I am home alone most of the time and don't neccesarily feel like I am absolutely going to pass out, but am having some of the feelings as though I could.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks everyone :hug2:

What are the side effects? surely they shouldnt be that bad..Have you got a nurse hotline or can you book into to query your doctor about it? doesnt sound too safe.

Be careful and maybe pad your walls up a bit psych style

*****Hands Over A Crash Helmet*****

Sounds like it could be a side-effect, but maybe try eating a little bit more too.

I found this on a website about the side effects of Celexa:

"feeling unsteady, loss of coordination"

This was on a site about Clonazepam:

"Clumsiness, unsteadiness, lightheadedness, dizziness"

Hope that helped you a little bit.

I hope that once the medicine has settled down in your system it stops but if not get hold of the doctor.

Stay strong.

Thank you both for the information and the laughs about padded walls  and also Invis thank you for the helmet, can't afford any more damage to the melon lol :decayed:

Hopefullies this will go away soon, I usually react to side effects a little more than some people, so just gonna hafta wait it out I think. Not as bad as what is happening in my head currently just a bit disturbing as I always think I am dying from brain tumors or something :eyebrow:

Love you both so much :hug2:

I'm the same way there, about the dying thing! I'm always dying, whether I have a brain tumor or a heart problem or i'm going to get run over, or something! So I know how tiring that can get. Hope your side effects start to work off soon, if not - get back to the doctors! :kisshug3:
Then you walk under the street lights,
and your too drunk to notice that everyone is staring at you.
You just don't care what you look like, the world is falling around you.
You just have to see her,
you just have to see her,
even though you know that she'll break you in two.

Having always had health issues I always get scared by the smallest things, so you two are not the only ones.

I always make a joke to my girlfriend that even though you can be deeply suicidal you get a twinge in your chest and that instantly means (in your head) you will have a heartache and then you get scared...even though you was going to OD later on.

I know the sick humour I have.

One good thing to do to avoid feeling so medically scared is to not read side effects, once you know what they are you will get them all.
Me and my girlfriend have this thing where I know her side effects and she knows mine, we stay away from them little leaflets. If she then has a problem she asks me and vice versa.

Maybe something you could try...as in staying away from the side effects?!

Hope that things are easing up a little for you.

Like you I react badly to medications and hence the reason i had to come off the anti-psychotics.
I really do think sometimes my body hates me.

Stay safe. :hug2:
