As the forum begins to grow we too need to look at providing our members with more folders of oppurtunity.

If there is any specific section/mental illness folder you wish to see on the forum please post here, we cannot garauntee they will all be chosen at this time but we will definately take each suggestion into consideration.

Thankyou for your time. :)

I think!!!!!!!
yes i am putting my word in, chezzie the big gob,
that it would be useful if we had a static folder somewhere for links to pages/ crisis lines(in the u.k samaritins) and any resources anyone has in general found useful or an interesting read regarding mental health illness.
That way we can share things which we may read and may have helped us to understand a little better with others on here who may find similar things interesting.

Tess,

A place where we can post our favourite YouTube links - especially those that make us laugh - would be a good thing! I don't usually recommend anything such as this - but on another forum I am a member of, there's a dedicated YouTube section!

I'm going to put in place a database system, which will have phone numbers and websites etc in it. Think it is a very good idea to have a dedicated section for this sort of thing.
"Then you walk under the street lights, and your too drunk to notice that everyone is staring at you.
You just don't care what you look like, the world is falling around you.
You just have to see her,
you just have to see her,
even though you know that she'll break you in two.

This has been mentioned before but we dont exactly want to replicate tm's e-hug button. We will definately think of another way to allow users to send a thought to each other :)

I agree we need something like this. We need to pool some ideas together and see what we come up with. E-hug was such a good term, but we can't just go around copying things that other websites have exactly. I need to find a way to make it our own.

How about something like, a little image under everyones avatar bits with "Hug this User - show you care" and then i'll find a way to log them and display them that isn't the same as TM.

I would like to see a poetry, and creative writing board.
Many of us with mental and emotional issues find it therapeutic to write and be heard.
I find this is sometimes the only way I can communicate effectively when I am very stressed or sad.
It would be helpful. Please consider this idea, Thanks.. Samara

Samara - a 'creative corner' has been added to the coping section of the forum, scroll down the page and you will see it :)
